Suitable locations

Suitable advertising positions in shopping centres.

MallAura serves shopping centres, retail centres, shopping galleries and mall portfolios. Every fixed-glazing position needs an individual assessment.

Location types

Location types we assess.

  • Shopping centres

Suitable fixed glazing at main entrances with stable visitor flow.

  • Retail centres

Visible fixed panels at shared centre entrances, subject to feasibility assessment.

  • Shopping galleries

Fixed glazing along mall passages with clear sightlines.

  • Mall entrance panels

Fixed glass between or beside automatic doors, never moving door leaves.

  • Large mall glazing

Wide fixed glazed areas for advertising and agreed centre communication.

  • Mall lift shafts

Fixed glazing of stationary lift shafts only, subject to separate engineering, fire-safety and service assessment.

  • Mall portfolios

A coordinated advertising and operating standard across suitable centre entrances.

  • Centre communication

Agreed airtime for events, tenant campaigns, navigation and operational messages.

MallAura exclusively serves shopping centres, retail centres, shopping galleries and mall portfolios. Every proposed surface is individually assessed for visitor flow, visibility and feasibility.

Criteria

What we base our decision on.

We assess the criteria together. One strong attribute does not make up for missing footfall or technical feasibility.

  1. 01High and stable footfall
  2. 02Strong visibility of the surface
  3. 03Suitable fixed glazing at the entrance, on a large surface or a lift shaft
  4. 04Sufficient viewing distance
  5. 05Advertising and media exclusivity
  6. 06Long-term availability of the position
  7. 07Power, connectivity and service access
  8. 08Safety, evacuation and legal feasibility

We assess every location individually from a media, technical, operational, safety and commercial perspective.

Glazing

Suitable and unsuitable glazing.

A building may have glass entrance doors, but the standard LED layer belongs on a fixed panel – not on a moving leaf without separate approval.

  • Fixed glazing between two automatic entrances

The most typical configuration. The advertising surface sits in the middle of the flow of people and is visible from outside and inside.

  • Fixed side glazing next to an automatic entrance

Suitable where a central panel is not available or is technically unsuitable.

  • Entrance vestibule with a suitable fixed glazed surface

Larger vestibules allow placement with good viewing distance and stable lighting conditions.

  • Several standardized entrances in a portfolio

Across a property portfolio, a uniform advertising and operating standard can be created.

  • Large fixed glazed surface

A wide shop window or glazed passage wall with good visibility allows a large-format advertising surface. We set the format by the geometry of the glass.

Unsuitable situations

  • Moving leaf of sliding doors without an approved technical solution
  • Glazing of an emergency exit that must remain unobstructed
  • Glass with incompatible coatings or lamination
  • A site without sufficient power or service access
  • A surface interfering with the door sensors or mechanism
  • A position with insufficient footfall or visibility
  • Placement conflicting with fire safety and evacuation requirements

Atypical solutions

  • Fixed glazed panel above the entrance

An atypical solution. It requires a separate technical assessment of fixing, viewing angle, service access and safety. We do not offer it as an equivalent standard.

  • Fixed glazing of a lift shaft

Only the fixed glazing of a stationary shaft – never the lift car or moving lift doors. It requires a separate technical, safety, service and fire assessment; not every shaft is suitable.
